Oregon Door Names Sustainability & Compliance Manager

Industry veteran joins growing team!gretchen
Winston, Oregon—Gretchen Withers has been named Sustainability and Compliance Manager at Oregon Door. In this position she will help lead company sustainability efforts and provide valuable assistance to affiliated distributor-partners and other stakeholders.

Withers has a long history in the door manufacturing industry. Prior to joining Oregon Door, Gretchen served many years in a variety of roles for Oshkosh Door Company in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Her contributions to the company included supply-chain, sales, customer service, regulatory compliance, technical interpretation, detailing and research and development.

Additionally, Withers led many of Oshkosh Door Company’s green building-related programs and initiatives, including FSC chain of custody and LEED credit assistance.

“Today the construction industry in general, and the door industry in particular, have come to realize that  implementing sustainable practices and providing more environmentally-friendly products is simply good business,” stated Withers. “Oregon Door has made a major commitment over the past several years to continue their leadership in this area and I look forward to working with them to accomplish even more.”
